Tai chi for Cancer

This is the word that strikes fear into the heart of all of us, yet in this modern day world most of us know someone who is affected by it.

Although there are many different types of cancer, my late Master wrote that cancer is caused by very low energy levels indeed, so the first thing we need to do is look at ways of improving your energy levels.

The LFA do not possess a magic wand, we can only explain what we have to offer, there are choices to be made and these are up to you.
We work along side the medical profession, offering ways to help you.

First you need to look at your intake of food, what do you put into your body? If you are following a normal western diet, it is not helping you.

If you really want to help yourself, if you really want to improve the quality of your life then look closely at what you eat and drink.

The LFA offer a diet handed down through the centuries called Chang Ming. I have published a book call the Tai Chi Long Life Diet and Recipe Book which fully explains the benefits.

I also suggest you look at the way you breathe, correct breathing is essential to expelling toxins from the body. Learn to breathe in through the nose allowing the breath to sink as low as possible (expanding the stomach).

Breathe out through the mouth (contracting the stomach). If you are not used to this type of breathing, it will feel strange at first.

You may feel a little light headed as the body is not use to taking in so much oxygen (practise from a seated position). With practise this type of breathing will become second nature to you.

Study and learn our Tai Chi Form as this will help to improve your body's own internal energy (Chi).

Next learn our Tai Chi Dance this will help you to gather external energy (Li).

If you are able, try and spend time outside (sitting underneath a tree is a good way of soaking up Li energy).

Please remember there should be no strain when practising any of our exercises if you are unsure please consult your doctor.

A ginger compress is another way of helping however, it does depend on the individual case.
