Tai chi for pregnancy
We offer really positive help and advice for Mother's to be, the movements of our Form set ensure that your baby grows in an environment of harmony.
The movements are gentle and ensure that no strain is placed on your body. When you practise our Tai Chi Form you are giving the whole of your body a complete work out
I personally have taught many Mother's to be over the years and each one of them has gone on to have a happy, healthy contented baby.
Morning Sickness:- A natural remedy is to suck on a small piece of ginger root.
The Taoist Walk is an excellent tonic for you and your baby. This is because in the West we tend to carry a lot of energy congestion around the pelvic area.
Practising the Taoist walk helps to ease this congestion ensuring that your body's natural energy moves freely.
The button for Stress also shows a video clip of a specialised breathing exercise for the relief of stress, it is a useful exercise which is easy to practise.
Plenty of fresh air and walking is also very helpful. When you are outside you gather more of the earth's natural energy called Li energy, this will add to your own energy levels.
High Blood Pressure. This is an area that is always closely monitored, correct breathing can help. Practise breathing in through the nose allowing your breath to sink as low as possible (expanding your stomach).
Breathe out through your mouth as you contract your stomach. If you are not use to deep breathing please practise from a seated position to begin with as you may feel a little light headed if you are not use to such a large oxygen intake.
Fennel Tea. Helps the milk production in new mums and also has a calming effect.
Parsley Tea. Helps the kidneys. In Chinese Medicine the kidneys are a very important organ indeed.
If you are truly concerned about your health and your baby's I recommend that you consider our Chang Ming Health Diet.
