Tai Chi for Testosterone
Testosterone is something which is usually laughed and sniggered at, yet the simple fact is that it is something which affects all of us (whether male and female), sooner or later.
The most commonly recognised side effect is a lower sex life, and although it is sometimes accepted as a matter of cause in older men it can affect men of all age groups.
If you are experiencing difficulties in this area, then something is amiss. Your body may be functioning quite well in other areas. However you need to look closely at your life style.
Your sexual energy is your most powerful energy, if your body is drained in other areas it will close down your sex drive so that the rest of your body can continue to function.
The best way to tackle this problem is firstly to acknowledge it, then to look at ways of improving the quality of your life.
Do you have harmony, a balance between work, rest and play?
LFA Tai Chi can help improve your energy levels, by practising our Tai Chi Form and our Tai Chi Dance.
Recently research showed that two professional boxers before a big fight had roughly equal testosterone levels.
After the fight the winner's testosterone levels soared where as the losers testosterone levels diminished.
If your mind is relaxed your body functions, if your mind is distressed, certain areas of your body start to shut down.
The LFA Form set uses all of the body without strain, although the movements appear very gentle, you are in fact giving your body a complete workout both internally and externally.
Another side effect of low testosterone levels is osteoporosis; this ailment can be very painful indeed and confirms to the mind that your body is under stress.
Again LFA Tai Chi is excellent for this condition it is a load bearing exercise, that has proved very helpful for many men and women.
LFA Tai Chi builds self confidence allowing you to be more in control of your life. We live in an age of choices, how much you want your life back is up to you!
Another area to look at is diet, over the years thousands of people have come to me for help.
